Duplex In-Line Filtration Strainers

A Duplex Strainer Assembly has (2) individual Filtration Strainers (as above) but connected in parallel. Multiple ball valves are used to stop, re-direct and purge flow. The strainer assembly is connected at top and bottom to common feed and outlet ports. With a Duplex Strainer, an individual strainer element can be cleaned by changing ball valve positions creating a back-flush. The back-flush reverses the flow direction cleaning particles from the wedge wire desgin strainer element and out a purge valve. One side can be back-flushed (cleaned) while the other side continues filtration. Available in manual and automatic back-flush models.
